Right now, I just don’t want to. She did something hateful to my husband, and I despise her for it. I want to get away from the hag. OK… she’s not a hag. She’s just different than me, and I don’t think right now is an optimum time for us to make peace. I think we need space, which we’re working on. I have hope that we’ll get along better in the future. She’s the mother of the man I love more than anything in this life, and I owe that to her, at least. He wouldn’t be who is, in part, without her guidance.
