Started at around 8:30am, finished around 9:30pm, so that’s 13 hours including the usual reasons for breaks and skipping the credits (except for listening to “Into the West” on LoTR:RoTK).

We caught some things we hadn’t before, like Theodin’s first words on seeing Eowyn on the battlefield (in 3) echoing his first words to her after being freed from Sauruman’s influence (in 2).

And seeing it all at once, I think I can now safely say that if I could join any single one of the peoples in Middle Earth, it would be the Rohirim :-).

Definitely worth doing.
