Well I did it, I have my fancy new bright red folding bike and I popped on my new helmet, my workies high visability jacket and off I went. Off to a great start and even managed to negociate haymarket to arrive at the office in 25 mins! Not to shabby – but I was a bit more sweaty than anticipated so had a shower went to put my socks on and forgot them. I thought to myself, “better socks than pants” but no sooner had the thought entered my head I realised I had no shirt. Since I was sporting a sweaty oversized t-shirt of Stephen’s I had to go out and buy a new one. It ended up taking me 1 hr 10 mins to get to my desk…but I loved the cycle and even saw to bunnies on the way home!
