I RAN A RACE!!! 1 year ago

Yesterday in honor of Independance Day! It was four miles and completely worth it. I feel awesome when I run. I got a time of 51 minutes.

That is WONDERFUL!

Congratulations Katy. That is really great! Not to get to far ahead of you, are you looking into other races in the future?

This running thing can be quite addictive. I completed a half marathon in January. I am not your typical athlete. Never have been, but completing that . . .it is now in my blood.

CONGRATULATIONS on a JOB WELL DONE!

Why thank you very much!

:D Thanks a lot!!!

Actually I’m thinking on running a labor day one. It’s hard to find races up where I live, but I will eventually. :) And you?

HALF MARATHON?! WOAHHHHH WOW!!!!!!!!!! That is something. Amazing and great job! What was your time?

Congrats to you as well!!!

Talk about Labor . . .

running a labor day race should be fun. Where do you live? I have to check your profile out when I am done w/ this comment. It is amazing how many folks travel to race.

Yep, I got involved w/ the Half as a way of raising funds in the AIDS Run. Next year when I run, I am just participating on my own, no need to raise funds, just me paying completely out of pocket. I am looking forward to it.

My time . . . I wanted to finish in less than 4 hours and I did. I finished in 3 hours, 40 minutes and twenty something seconds. I just got my official certificate of completion in the mail a few weeks ago. I want to frame my singlet w/ my number, my certificate of completion and my shoes and display them. I have to see if I have an electronic photo of me nearing the finish line and I will upload it.

Until next time . . . .

Altonece!

LOL

It should be. I live in Pennsylvania. It is truly amazing. I really want to run the New York Marathon. My dad does that every year. And he once traveled to do the San Diego Rock N Roll Marathon. That was really cool…

AIDS? Wowww. That is soo good of you! :) Me and my dad run for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. :D

Hey! Great time!!! Haha. I am looking forward to it if I can see that! :)

Until… sigh

Thank you. :)
My dad has ran dozens of marathons. It’s a lot of fun. The whole experience especially if you bring friends or family. You should try to do one in the fall where it’s not humid but not freezing. The New York Marathon is wonderful if you live close to there or in driving distance etc etc… I am. Running makes me feel free. I wish you luck in your following running years. :D
