I went and visited my brother on the 4th. My husband and I just decided to drop in. He lives right here in town. We generally do not have any plans to spend holidays together. He didn’t come over for Thanksgiving or Christmas last year though we did exchange gifts. We manage to talk on the phone once or twice a month if we’re lucky. I usually do the calling.
Most of our communication is through our daughters. My daughter is very close to her cousin. They see each other nearly everyday.
