build a motorcycle
I want to ride with the pride of knowing I built it 2 years ago

While I have ridden motorcycles I have never built one. I want to find an older motorcycle and recover it, perhaps ride it, perhaps sell it. For fun, not for profit. Who knows, I might make a ton of friends this way!

I think it’s a great idea. I want to do the same, though I have ridden very little. I just want to understand the mechanics of it and have the pride of knowing I built it. I’m just having trouble finding help on the internet.
