After applying to a few airlines, I know it would be a great way to travel but I think I should follow my instincts that my well-being lies in other interests. Watching View from the Top confirmed this for me. Great movie.

Good choice!!

I would never tell anyone not to do something they have their heart set on but this is an absolutely terrible job these days. Maybe a lifetime ago it was closer to what everyone expects. :) Trust me it is anything but glamorous. I ‘escaped’ several years and it was the best decision ive ever made!

I worked for Continental and absolutely hated it. I wish the airlines would do a better job informing interviewees what this job is REALLY like.

ive never worked in the field but ive done customer service and i’ve flown a LOT and i am surprised more flight attendants dont kill themselves honestly.
