My new bad habit... 2 years ago

I snack after work instead of eating supper. When I get home from work or school every evening, I’m hungry but not ready for supper. So I eat a snack and, a little later, I’ll eat another one. Then I’m too full for supper. This must end. If I’m hungry when I get home in the evening, I just need to fix dinner. It would be much healthier for me that way because I put thought into preparing a meal for myself, i.e. I won’t make something that’s too terribly bad for me. When I snack, I don’t think about it. I just eat whatever is handy—which is usually not something terribly unhealthy, but not something should that should replace a meal.

So tonight when I get home from work, I’m going to promise myself that I will not snack if I’m hungry. I will go to the kitchen and make myself something to eat.

Well...

Okay, I’m home from work and there’s a pizza cooking in my oven right now. It’s not the healthiest thing in the world, but I threw my back out at work today and needed something fast and easy, and, most important of all, it is an actual meal—not a snack.
