Fall in love for real
What this means Really 3 years ago

I have a hard time with this because I’m not exactly sure what it entails.. whether it means reinventing how I see the person I am with now, or whether I just miss that early in the relationship spark, or whether I believe there is this person somewhere that feels like me. I can’t trust my emotions because I fall in love with brilliant but entirely crazy men, so that isn’t really love either.. all I know is that I want someone that feels like they are part of me in an expansive way. Not dependence, but exhiliration. Where being with that person expands the possibilities, especially of my mind. Where it feels like there is no end.

yes.. I agree.. now I ask myself.. what does it really mean to be in a loving relationship.. especially one that is old and not new.. what does love look like now?

Sometimes you have to look inside before you look outside.

If you restict yourself to only a certain group or type of person then your detracting from the posibilities. Not all are as they seem at a first glance and not every word stumbled over means less intelligent. Look to yourself and see what needs to be set right and then when you’re ready open your heart. When your ready and not looking for someone to give you a feeling you long for that is when lighting often strkes. What you are looking for now will never be found the way that you’re looking for it.

dear riverwalker…

you have used the wrong “your”. “your” is possessive and “you’re” would have been correct…

while I suppose your(observe my correct usage here) comments are valid in some kind of strange universe.. but your(correct again) antagonistic response only brings out extremely well learned saracasm…

read my paragraph again.

LOL

’...extremely well learned sarcasm’ Oh I liked that! I’m gonna steal that and use it. I don’t know where or when, but I’m gonna use it!
Anyway, back to the topic….
I can understand the negativity of that previous comment. One good thing to be derived from it would be to widen your horizons. I say this with no intention of doing it myself, but others may wish to. My sister is dating a man who, by all outward appearances, isn’t very appealing at all. He looks rather like the ‘Paul Bunyon’ type. But this man is extremely caring, even MY kids love him! He’s romantic, always sends her flowers, repective and responsible, and lives to spend as much of his free time with her as possible. She’s not been this happy in years. All because she looked ‘outside the box’. Good things can come from extending yourself in such a way.
ps…incorrect word usage irks me too!
