Okay so we had a set back. A couple of accidents on the living room floor. Yuk. :( This was after the hole in the aluminum pan was about half the size of the pan. I guess she got a little nervous that there was no room for any litter. Which sent little miss kitty to spend her overnights locked in the bathroom, since she’d do it while i was sleeping. Now we’re back on track. The aluminum pan is entirely gutted. Just the frame remains. All her business goes directly into the toilet. I think the remains of the pan may be a comfort thing, so I’m going to wait a few days and then remove it and see if she’s okay with that.

Hip Hip Hooray!!!
I’m so excited for you!!!! How awesome that you’re almost ready for her to have the pan taken away….
I wish it were this easy with older cats =)
Let us know how it goes after you remove the pan =)
i was going to remove it today…but we are moving next weekend to a new place. so i think i’m going to keep the hollow pan in, and bring it to the next house, so even though the toilet will be foreign to her, she’ll hopefully recognize the pan. and maybe a week after we’re settled in there, i’ll remove it. i’ll keep ya updated! thanks for your support!
