I have taken a year off to enjoy myself and find out what I love. Through taking electives in Spanish and linguistics I have discovered my love of language. Science has also always been a fascination of mine. Through some contacts in a great job I got for the summer I was able to shadow a speech-language pathologist and enjoyed every minute of it. By total coincidence I ended up working with all autistic children and I learned so much from them. I will be applying for all the programs in Canada. The only complication: I am dating someone who just settled here. Can i leave for three years?
