I used to act with my school’s theater group and our teacher found it very important to have everything perfect and always let us repeat our text until our pronunciation was crystal clear. So I am actually able to speak clearly, and I do like that theater language. Yet I’m told that I speak very slurry. I don’t know why. Lazy? Insecure? Maybe I should read stage plays aloud for myself to get into that again.
