There is a God! Look around you! Everything comes from him. When you are inside an office or in your home, someone had to build it, or create it. Things just don’t pop up, like Scientist tempt us to believe. There is more proof that we are created from an intelligence beign than the big bang theory. The Bible is a good source to start. You need to read the whole thing, from the old testament to the new testament. It opens your eyes and can see God’s purpose in you you. The holy spirit will lift the vail that is in front of you and start learning the truth. But just like anything in life you have to have perserverence. Like an athlete, he practices and practices until is second nature. So is the word of God. We have to feed it over and over and pray for his Grace and it will come to you, and you will never doubt. God is LOVE!

I am kind of in the same position as you, although I never believed in God, only a higher power. But once you begin learning the Word and being open to the faith, you will feel him, and know it that he is alive. Research intelligent design it gives a lot more on Gods creation rather than the Darwin theory… which I remind you ARE only THEORIES. And taught to us in school therefore we must accept it as the truth right? Scientist just sit back and saw, well this skeleton looks like this one and this one looks like that one. I find it helpful to find truth in both, while I think some animals are evolved versions of themselves, I do find it incredibly hard to believe me and you, and our DNA structure upon DNA structure made us up from bacteria. If we were once fish that evolved, why are there still fish? Or if we come form monkeys, why are there still monkeys? We obviously come from cavemen but you don’t see those suckers walking around with should strong facial and body features. I don’t know, didn’t want to lecture because I’m not incredibly right or saying I am but it’s what I now feel and im more than content with that. :)
