I’m stuck in America whether I like it or not. I’d hoped not to create roots and settle down here but now I can’t leave my family, boyfriend, career and life behind.

You dont have to
You don’t have to leave any of those things! your boyfriend and career can follow. Get a job or studies in Europe, both of you. If you leave too late the economy in the U.S. is going to get jobless. Too many might want to lave.
