When I was trying to find my passion in life, I almost literally stumbled upon a TESL certification program (here in the US, we call it TESL). And I am glad I went with it. I got the TESL/TEFL certificate and am now close to finishing my MA in linguistics. Have been teaching for close to four years. I love it.
