Two months ago a walked out of jail. Walked home 7 miles because my car was impounded. I got to the house and had myself a beer and cigarette. I had 2 more beers and 4 cig’s, then I decided I can’t go on like this. Iv’e ahd numerous run-ins with the law, I’m getting older no younger, and this is the only life I have. Iv’e listened to some “Tony Robbins CD’s” and they have helped. I’m not trying to sell Tony, or anything like that it just helped me. Anyway, in the pass year and a half – Iv’e been separated from my wife, This was hard but her daughter wanted it and she finally got it. Anyway back to me. Iv’e been clean and sober and smoke free for 70 days now. I’m realizing that if I just let these three things go that I’ll,live longer, be able to get all the good things I deserve, like a new car, new clothes,new woman,new friends, a whole new life ( most of all with GOD), these things are all possible. And all I have to do is live my life.

I notice very few people have Staying sober or getting sober on there 43 things list! Congrats to you! One of few!
I attend meetings regularly and am surprised to find that there are 1000+ in my area each week.
In my town, there are 20-50people each night at 8pm, ready to stay sober, in 1 single room.
It amazes me everyday!
If we are painstaking about this phase of our development, we will be amazed before we are half way thru.
