I worked at Dunkin Donuts, was miserable, and decided to seek an alternative. I got into two car accidents, my insurance skyrocketed. I was broke. Minimum wage wasn’t cutting it and the tips weren’t helping much either. So the hospital was my last option. My whole family has pretty much had a job there at one point or another, so I was a shoo in. And now I’m making double, often triple the money I used to make, but I’m miserable. Never leave a job you hardly have to work for to go to one where you dont have even one second to NOT work. My manager is a giant douchebag with a lisp that tears my eardrums. The patients are alright, except when they crap themselves in their seats. I work right through dinner, sometimes lunch and breakfast. And even when you do double the work you should have to stay as long as you’re scheduled and get paid as much as you should, they send you home early so you get jipped on your paycheck. They’re scam artists at Dirty Sturdy! Watch out for high paying jobs that don’t require prerequisites!!!!! They’ll eat you alive!
