and I really liked what she wrote. I will paraphrase, and in doing so, lose much of her flavor and some of her intent…but here goes.
Rather than form expectations that push relationships, treat them as adventures. In an adventure, we eagerly anticipate each moment. We do not hold adventures accountable for outcomes – after all, part of what makes an adventure is the element of surprise.
