Its a bad habit I guess but I always paint a picture in words leading into many mundane daily conversations and interactions.
It is not necessary in most cases.
Tell people what you have to and get on with life.
I guess its an insecurity trying to pre-qualify their acceptance.
In reality people see you the way they want to see you or experience you and you cannot force an opinion.
