start doing pilates again (read all 2 entries…)
mmmmm....Pilates....

Let me start by saying – I LOVE PILATES! – Yoga is cool and all – but I get irritated with all the sitting around – trying to meditate and what not – I am so highly TYPE A that I can’t sit still for any longer than I have to, hell I can’t even run on the treadmill at the gym with out something to read and/or listen too – I get bored – I have to MULTI-TASK, I can’t sit and watch TV without pickup my laptop and messing around on the internet or starting to do laundry, or clean up the room that the TV is in – I can’t just sit still!!! That’s why I love Pilates (and flow yoga) it’s high intensity – it’s fast paced – and it’s an awesome workout that doesn’t get my asthmatic panties in a bunch or sent to the hospital. So, if I love it so much, why did I stop doing it – cuz I moved across town two years ago and instead of being a 5-10 minute drive at the butt crack of dawn, it now requires at least a 30 minute drive in pre dawn conditions, and well frankly, I’m LAZY…there I said it, I’M FREAKINLAZY – so hopefully, one of these days soon, I will get up off my ever expanding rear end and find either a closer Pilates class (Pilates is also a great stress reliever) and/or just bite the dang bullet and drive…mtf
