Watch a space shuttle launch
Wondering When Is Best

The shuttle launch schedule here: http://www.nasa.gov/missions/highlights/schedule.html

Identifies opportunities to see the next couple of missions in October and December of this year.

My question is – which is better weather-wise? Should I go with October? December? Next year, perhaps? I’m anxious to go, but don’t want to have a miserable time standing outside while I wait for the “go”.

Comments:

It's Florida, why worry?!?

Truly, Probably December would be better – no risk of hurricaines….. but the weather in FL is ALWAYS GOOD for a space shuttle launch, if it isn’t good, they delay the launch!

You know...

if it isn’t good, they delay the launch!

I never even considered that! That’s so true, I guess it’ll have to be good weather! Sometimes I just forget the most basic stuff. :)
