have a holiday (read all 2 entries…)
not very good at holidays 2 years ago

a lot more goes into them than one realizes. Lots of internet surfing, map reading, calling (stuff other people must do at work) packing, driving, ‘will they have noted our reservation?’ type anxiety…but in exchange for hilarity of working out washing powder instructions with a Greek dictionary or singing in harmony in the car on the way.

I just want to be teletransported to some nice cheap available sunny place, but despite many attempts involving paperclips and rubber bouncy balls my son has still not mastered the art of intergalactical time travel let alone teletransportation so am going to have to get butt in gear and do it the usual way. But where to go? 12 days left. I can do this. Doh, I just realised, 43places.

Sir Aaron is!

Vegas Baby

Just pick up Hunter S. Thompson’s travel guide called “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas” and you don’t really have to research the plans. Just follow his advice and you are guarunteed an unforgetabble time.

Except, are the kids going? The Hunter S. vacation plan is not really kid friendly.

How about the original Legoland in Copenhagen?

JudithKD I LOVE the year in review thing...how cool! Thx robots!

God, I love it...

“The Hunter S. Vacation plan is not really kid friendly.”

Thank you for the laugh! I needed that.
