Ani DiFranco lives across the street from my school. On warm days, when her windows are open, we can hear her practicing. It’s pretty awesome. It’s not even a big deal to see her on the street. I’ve had conversations with my friends that go, “Hey, guess who I saw today?” “Who?” “Ani DiFranco.” “Oh, that’s cool. What was she wearing?”
