lose 100 pounds (read all 28 entries…)

Ok, so I gave in to my curiosity and weighed myself. I’m at 225 again, I guess that means I’m back to where I was last year. Hey, at least I didn’t gain all of it back.

I look thinner than last year though, because I’ve been exercising and riding the bike, so I’ve lost more inches this year.

My only gripe is the loose skin, that really,really blows. I can see it hanging around my upper arms, and bunching up around my stomach, it grosses me out. I don’t think any amount of exercise is going to tone that up.

wow, I think you are doing great … your weight loss is fantastic. Most of us can’t stay on an eating plan to lose 15 lbs, let alone all you have lost … you ROCK !!

the loose skin can be cut off. people do it all the time. get a loan now, or when all the weight is gone, and you can get that stuff cut off, be free of it, and you just have to pay some money for it every month. you are doing wonderful and don’t worry about that skin. either accept it as a badge of all the work you’ve done to lose weight, or accept is as a marker of how far you will go to try to protect yourself from whatever you were protecting yourself from when you over-ate and gained weight and made that skin, or just get a loan and get some doctor to cut it off and pay for that op once a month for a few years…
