build a raised garden bed (read all 2 entries…)
Dogs are contained 2 years ago

Finally. I put up a temporary fence to section off the dogs. It’s nice to be able to walk in the yard without scouting for recycled doggie treats. Once the temp drops below 90 I’m going to start on the bed.

Canine Containment is Great!

We, too, now have a Canine Free Zone – it’s truly wonderful! Congrats!

May I suggest Stark Bros. ( www.starkbros.com ) for fruit trees, berry brambles and such? On your side of the world, it is probably still a good time to plant bare root, dormant fruit trees for the fall… or get ready now and plant in the spring. I like the dwarf and semi-dwarf trees because you can cram a whole lot of them into a small space :-)

BTW, I was in Hampton for 24 hours setting up a Military Vehicle Processing Center for the company I work for – humid and a little muggy, but I did appreciate the warm now that the temps are dropping dramatically in the High Desert where our family lives.

Good luck with the little bit of Eden that you are creating in your yard – may you and your family enjoy many blessings there.
