Get all my mp3's properly tagged
this is tough...

...since the definition of “properly tagged” seems to vary wildly depending on which software you’re using. I’m standardizing on ID3v2 with iTunes extensions, but finding good tools for doing this reasonably easily is just impossible.

I’ve also had the same problem. My library is so big, that any program I try crashes. Am dl-ing musicbrainz right now.

Try the new one (Picard) – it’s album based, and way much better. Takes a little to get the hang of, but it’s really sorted out most of mine.

And the great thing about MB is, you can fix the data there if it’s wrong, and get your tags updated to match.
