When I was Alice, in Alice in Wonderland, my favourite scene was the croquet game. The Red Queen and I whacked each other with fun noodles representing croquet mallets and the balls were real people on scooters. At the cast party, hosted by the actress who played the Red Queen, we played Mad Dog Croquet. The Mad Hatter was Mad Dog, and he made the game last so much longer that we stopped about two wickets from the end. The Red Queen was winning.
