I’m a sophamore and there is a junior in my section, and enev though she is older than me, she still respects me. So, even if you are scared of trying out, think of all the good stuff that will come out of it. I mean, what is the worst thing that can happen??? (Not getting the position, it will not be that bad. Go for it, and be an inspiration to others in your band!)
