Blasted knee :-|

After last weeks swim my knee has been aching like hell – I think it’s because I did breast stroke legs. But once in the water I didn’t feel any pain so I just did what I could. I’ll give it another week and if it’s no better I’ll book to see the physio. I’ll try again swimming on Tuesday.

Comments:

Is the aching like the running aching?

I would think that maybe a small phone call to the physio asking if you should swim again before your next appointment might be a good idea. You don’t want to hurt yourself any more than you already have. Also, you might want to take it a little easier in the water… Keep up the swimming though. Good work!!

Kinda

Thanks for the concern and support! It’s nowhere near as bad today, and it might just be the joint settling down after so little exercise recently. I’m being mega careful, but the physio I spoke to last time said to keep it active too. It’s a tightrope! :-)
