ABC jerk-offs. 1 year ago

Yesterday, after the democratic debate, ABC posted an online poll to ask the viewers who we thought won.

Interestingly, Dennis Kucinich won, hands down!

But even more interestingly, ABC took down the poll results, and opened another poll, asking the exact same question.

Why is that? I sincerely don’t understand. They’ve even cut him out of the photo of all the candidates on their website (though his name is still in the caption below). What if America truly prefers him? How often have you convinced yourself the candidate you like is “unelectable?”

I’m pissed!

If you are a fan of Dennis, or perhaps even a fan of truth in reporting, click on over to the new poll and let ‘em know what you think:

Comments:

I didn't have a screenshot of the original poll

but DK’s website did.

Grrrrrrr.

what!

This is really upsetting. How can ABC News do this?! They can’t just monkey around with their polls, and cut Dennis Kucinich out of the original photo.

Yeah, like wembley said, “a fan of truth in reporting, click on over to the new poll and let ‘em know what you think” Not only can you vote in the poll, there’s also a section on that page where you can leave comments. Let ABC know we need truthful reporting, and not having them monkey around with trying to fix the results in their polls. Good gravy!

Before and after of the photograph

Thanks for the before and after screenshot of the poll, wembley. I found a before and after of the photograph with Kucinich in the photo and then Kucinich cropped out. It’s posted on my blog at: http://www.spudart.org/blogs/randomthoughts_comments/4243_0_3_0_C/

raise a ruckus !

As much as I don’t like the comedy channel, you should raise a ruckus and contact one of those stand up comedians who are on FoxNews – Hannity,O’Reilly – they love to rip the media a new one.

Or in a kinder gentler vein Keith Oberman on MSNBC may be interested.

Staightforward Kucinich

A webcomic made an interesting point:

One thing I finally noticed about Kucinich during the AFL-CIO debate was how Kucinich always made more points during his alloted time than other candidates. I have been thinking about this and found the answer when I was reading the transcript. Kucinich doesn’t equivocate. He doesn’t dance around an issue – he goes straight for the explanation and since his past is not littered with idiotic support of bad bills.
