Portland is a great city! You will definitely enjoy it. Especially at this time of year. Late summer/early fall is probably the best weather you will see, about 70s or 80s during the day at the most, 50s the least at night. Everybody is really friendly up there. I grew up there and really enjoyed it. I am now living in Phoenix, AZ which is nice too, but does not compare to Portland’s atmosphere at all. Portland is a big city, but it’s one of the smaller big cities which is really cool.
