I tried reading Emma by Jane Austen but I am afraid I found it intolerably boring. I forced myself to read halfway through the book and then very naughtily skipped to the last 2 pages, found all that everything was just as I had expected it would be and didn’t bother going back to read the rest.
I’m having a slight break from this challenge to read Four Past Midnight by King. I’m on the first story and it is one of those tales which really grips you and you don’t want to put it down, but on the other hand you don’t want it to end!
I’ve just downloaded Ulysses so that’s next on the list.
