Get a scanner
Scanning to my hearts content. 2 years ago

I’m looking for a radio scanner goal, like the programmable multi frequency VHF/UHF scanners available widely. There is one on my kitchen counter that I should learn how to use better. It has lots of weather channels and scans emergency channels or any others programmed into presets. Spiffy.

I have a flatbed optical scanner, too. I like it. When I did the shopping for it I picked out a great standard scanner with a film and slide attachment inside the lid. I opted that this would be better than some combo because of functionality, and that some manufacturers produce a simple, large format, high resolution printer for a very reasonable price. Both being seperately servicable and replaceable. I have a microfilm/microfiche machine which had been a printer using outdated technology, I would like to incorporate an old scanner(or just cheap/affordable) into the body where the printing mechanism was originally. I have a few rolls of microfilm from the Archives to scan for easier reading and would love to get microfiche of old auto mechanics manuals and scan for future reference.

Check… got a scanner…. need to do it again.
