If All Goes Well  — 11 months ago

I only have 5 days left before I head there. I plan to go Saturday (Labor Day weekend) and spend the day. I just have to be sure my health is allowing me to do this now. I pray I can go. I adopted one of the manatees online that is there. How darn cool is that?

Thanks for the compliment on my pic. That was from one of my Red Hat outings. We do have fun!!
I hope to go to see the manatees this weekend. Now the weather is being a threat. Time will tell.

Homosassa Springs is really beautiful

I have ridden my motorcycle up there several times (never when I could actually go into the park area though). I absolutely love manatees. I feel connected to them somehow. (kindred spirits, maybe …) I hope you are able to make the trip.

If I don’t get there this weekend, theres always next. That’s the beauty of living here. Everything is so close and winters don’t get in our way. Now they are calling for rain this weekend. That figures. Time will tell!!

Sept 22nd

I got thinking about this last night and the holiday weekend isn’t a good time to go anyplace. I learned that over Memorial Day weeknd so I am putting this off until Sept 22nd when it should be calmer. Another thing is the weather is iffy right now. They are calling for rain all weekend and being at a Wildlife Park (outside) wouldn’t be much fun in the rain.
I’ll get there though. Just not right now.

This Weekend

As long as the weather is good I am going Saturday. It’s been dreay and rainy here for the past 6 days and the forecast is saying nice by the weekend.
I’m looking forward to going.
I found out the Park is 1 1/2 miles around. That is a nice little Park and with all they have there I may have to go around more than once :)
