joie de vivre gone for a while
I got a pedicure, but I mussed up the big toe on my (slightly larger) right foot.
However, I really like the place I got it from. It was busy. The place is run by a loud, nasally-voiced and warm-spirited Vietnamese woman, and there were two other middle-aged Vietnamese women working there. They all seemed to have a jolly spirit. If you were looking for a quiet, relaxing place, this is not it. But it had a happy vibe, and the prices were right, and it’s within walking distance of the house.
