I don’t really know what getting 1st or a 2:1 means, but I am sure that with persistence you will accomplish this goal.
Perdysha is beginning to get back on top of things in my life.
Those are the top two grades in the british uni grading system. A first would be the equivalent to an american A and a 2;1 would be a B and a 2:2 is a C. In general the cut-off points for the grades are 70%, 60% and 50%. Between 40 and 50 you get either a pass or a 3rd, I can’t remember.

I got onto mine with a 2:2. It depends what it is and whether or not you need funding for it I think.
If you’re prepared to start late try ringing round during fresher’s week. It’s what I did last year and I started about 2 weeks late because there was a space on the course and I was able to pay my own way.
