Make pumpkin pie!
fresh from a pumpkin is the best

start with a small sugar-pie pumpkin. Make sure it’s freckled – those ugly orange spots are the sugar.

some recipes require peeling and cubing and boiling the pumpkin. huge pain in the ass. don’t bother.

cut the top off, chop pumpkin in half, scoop the seeds and gunk out and put the pumpkin halves face down in a roasting pan with about an inch of water. stick it in a hot oven (350-400 degrees) for about 45 minutes to an hour. the skin will peel off and you can scoop the mush into a bowl and mash it.
