there is just so much….
How on earth did I accumulate all of this stuff. Much of it was packed up for the summer because I rented out my apartment. And I did not miss 99% of it. Of course some of it was seasonal clothes I could not possibly wear right now but what is the rest of it? I am cleaning my place in the next few days as I move back in hopefuly much of it can be gone—never o be replaced.

I hope that when you "get rid of things"...
that you will – please! – consider giving them to charity. What you think of as junk might be a treasure for someone else. If you throw them in the garbage, they might just end up in a garbage dump, rotting away and adding to the world’s pollution.
Thanks!
they will leave but not be thrown away
Don’t worry I would never throw the things away. In fact most of my things were already second hand either salvaged from the streets or bought at thrift stores or stoop sales.
Things is I’ve “salvaged” way more than I need.
I still have trouble figuring out what can go though. But I am determined to work on this for at least 2 hours this week

Good for you!
and thanks for the reassurance.
I really hate to see things thrown away… so much of what is useless to us is treasure to someone else, especially someone else who doesn’t have many financial resources.
