write great music
What does it take to write great music? 2 years ago

Sometimes I feel like I do my best work when it is entirely improvised or random. Those are the times when I don’t necessarily have someone writing it down or recording it either. Could pose a problem…. maybe one of my goals should be to fix that.

I get that feeling sometimes. I rarely get the inspiration to write fluidly in front of a computer screen. When I’m in a situation where I’ve just come up with a great idea, I try to record to record it on whatever device I have at hand, even if it’s just the voice recorder on my phone.
