That is one of the joys of eBay – not only do you earn a bit of money, but your unwanted things go to someone who wants them. In these days of overwhelmed landfills and unthought, disposable goods, this makes eBay even better. It’s also weirdly fun to watch how auctions develop – some of the oddest things go for quite a bit of cash.

I’ve been active on eBay since 1998—I’m quite willing to help people get started listing items.

Me too!

My husband jokes that I was a founding member of eBay. Not true. I think it took me a week to join. [grin] I have bought and sold all kinds of items on eBay, big and small over the years. LOVE IT!

Once you start selling, you find yourself looking around your house, wondering what else can be sold, what else can you get rid of. . .it’s good to declutter and get rid of stuff. We have too much stuff these days.
