to your questions, judging by my recent photos, no, I don’t NEED to take photography. But I do so love it. I’ve already taken the classes in developing, printing in the dark room (which I love but don’t have access to a dark room right now) as well as digital photoshop and the like, which is kinda how I got on the photography track to begin with… sitting at my computer one day after being laid off and thinking why can’t I just play with my photos instead of look for a ‘real job’. LOL!
To get my (second) Associates degree, in Sciences, though I feel that it should be Arts, I need to take three classes, History of Photography, Photojournalism and Advanced Photography.
And it’s currently still on hold, as Peggy, who stole $4200 by forging my name on a check as well as signing my name for things that I did not agree to pay (worth about $5000 all told that I ended up responsible for) has depleted my savings almost entirely. As such, I’m now moving into the townhouse in Vegas, and may or may not have to take more classes at a NV school to get my degree.
(sigh) Sometimes it sucks to be a grown up. But really I can’t complain because my life is pretty great right now! If all of this didn’t happen, I wouldn’t be where I am today. Moving to Vegas will have some great things in store for me. I don’t know what they are yet, but I am sure that they are there.
