Ok, here is one that I took before my friend got there.
I was taking self portraits.
I enjoy photos like this of myself because I just look so darn happy… and I am, just completely content being me… comfortable with being me…. if that makes any sense.

I am working on a self-portrait collage both for the flickr goal but also for an art show where I am a resident artist. We are raising money for breast cancer research.
(I am always convinced I will get in trouble on here for posting stuff… so I stay rather safe).
I am glad to make you happy, dear one… that makes me happy. A mutual making-one-another-happy society.

For me, I see pride and happiness in that photo, but without egotism or vanity.

I was filled with
joyful anticipation. It is like I told my friend, “I prayed for this today!” and I think both of us had prayers answered, perhaps quite different prayers.
It will be interesting to see what happens next.
