A couple of months ago, I bought a new pair of running shoes (the old ones fell apart). Got “measured” at a specialist shop in London, got video’d running, ran across pressure mats etc. Found the right shoe and took them home. Had a 10k run in them that night and my left ankle began to hurt. Same again during the next session. And the next. It’s now so sore that I can’t run at the moment. If it doesn’t get better, a trip to the doctor may be needed (who will probably say “it’s a running injury, nothing we can do about it!!)
