I actually did not read it. It was too slow for me. I am reading now (again) Мастер и Маргарита. My Rusian teacher in highschool Нели Григориевна loved the book and she mentioned it very often. She was my teacher in 10th and 11th frade, before her (8th and 9th grade) we had another teacher – Владимир Тераладзе. A very good teacher, but he was suspended from school – too much vodka. :( I felt really bad for him, after I saw him a few years later, compeletly degraded. He did not recognize me, when I greeted him, so I introduced myself and reminded him of the few times he asked me to leave the classroom for bad behaviour. then he remembered. I bought him a shot of vodka. You cannot imagine the feeling of seeing someone you respected a lot, who was your teacher like this. And not only, but to buy him a drink, only because he needed at least one and did not have money to get it. :( Now this made me sad again.
