when one of The Chosen go thru a series of changes… needing blood for energy or other’s psychic energy plus a lot of extra shit. sensitivity is hightened with senses… sight, sound, smell, etc all intensifies and become inhuman. what happens is that a sudden urge to feed overwhelms you… you begin to fatique (like i have for a month or so in the very beginning) before you realize the thirst needs to be satisfied…or you might attack someone at random to fulfill the crave. that’s when you go in search of blood donors (willing people who willingly provide the source their fill in blood. two donors is usually necessary for each vampire) the sun begins to weigh you down, causing you to fatique and burn (with in minutes your sensitive skin sunburns and your eyes are ultra-sensitive to the light so you prefer to wear sunglasses to shield your eyes and i mean the 100% UV protection kind)... there’s a lot to explain for the Awakening and i only touched on some.
