If you’d have told me 15 years ago I’d be the main cook of the household and that I’d be damned good and improvisational like those cooks on TV, I would’ve laughed in your face. I always had the desire to learn, but no one would teach me. Now, I’m teaching myself and loving it. My husband loves it too.

I am the same as you – always wanted to learn, but my sister was always the “chef” of the house and so I didn’t really get the option to cook much.
I’m still learning, but I can at least cook without blowing up the kitchen, which means success in my book. :P
I’d cook more but it’s hard with a baby… so usually I’ll do the first half, and when our son wants me, my husband will take over.
