my boyfriend and his mom were speaking spanish to each other and i was just looking at them trying to understand what they were saying. then she turned to me and said, “do you speak spanish?” and i said, “un pocito (sp?)”

sometimes i’ll tell my boyfriend to speak to me in spanish so that i can start to understand and learn. i know you shouldn’t be embarrassed about how you say some words. you won’t learn if you don’t mess up!
