It is really amazing how much personality dogs have. I couldn’t stand not having a pooch around the house!

Be prepared, though; having a dog is a ton of responsibility, and some may be difficult to train, have health issues, etc. Keep in mind that it is a long term committment. Do not get a dog if you think that you will get rid of it in the future because it has problems.

If you are determined to get a pure-bred dog, be sure to research the breeder and make sure that they are legit. Be sure to research the breed so that you know what to expect and that you can insure the dog will fit into your lifestyle. I really believe in rescuing dogs from shelters.

There is nothing like the unconditional love that you will get from a dog.
