...that I haven’t really read any Russian classic so far. Anna Karenina is standing in my book shelf (an occasionally looking at me sadly) and just waits to be read. So I guess, this will be the one to start.
Later we can talk about Pushkin, Dostojevsky and (if I got a LOT of time) Tolstoy’s War and Peace ;)
The thing with me is, I don’t even know what language to read those books in. I’m used to being able to read a book in its original language (at least, I’m able to do so with English, German, French and Spanish books) – so I’m probably a little spoiled when it comes to books.
So I’ve decided to try Anna Karenina in Englisch, some other Russian classic in German, etc. In the end, I guess I’ll stick witch what I like best.
