Living In God's Exquisite, Miraculous Sufficiency God bless your 2013! This is the year of ACTION!

Stillness

Today, as I relayed to one of my best friends, was amazing. If I could capture all those moments today that touched my heart, that would be quite the video. Throughout the day, I kept seeing music videos in my head of just life events happening.

The extraordinariness of things. A simple smile with laughter bursting forth from her lunges, my daughter exudes such joy. Her eyes are brightly lit. The adoration of her little brother at his big sister who cares for him so much. How they play so well together most of the time.

I saw him yell out, “Mommy, I love you.” Then, he rushed back to the water mushroom to play some more. Just 15 min. before, he was petrified to play in that area, but through teamwork, role-modeling, encouragement from Hannalee and me, and speaking empowering words upon him, Sean took steps to conquer his fears.

As his mommy, I held him in the first go around. Each subsequent time, I encouraged more independence.

I want to help both my children, to give them wings to not just fly, but to soar to heavenly heights. I want them to be able to spread their wings and see no limits, and to dream as big and as far as the mind can conceive, and to go out and reach for the stars whether they be in this galaxy or not.

There are many moments with my children that are precious, even the challenging ones. I love just watching them sleep, or giving them hugs and kisses.

The moments are fleeting, so as they happen, just savor them. And then, they are gone, but just a wisp of memory.
